WASHINGTON, D.C. – The New York Times is reporting that today, the United States reached another tragic milestone in the COVID-19 pandemic: four million confirmed cases of the virus. Accountable.US released the following statement on behalf of its president, Kyle Herrig, in response:

“The Trump administration mismanaged its response to COVID-19 from the beginning. From ignoring public health experts’ advice to hindering states’ PPE procurement to everything in between, the administration has failed to keep Americans safe. As President Trump continues to ignore and deny his administration’s failures, more Americans’ lives continue to be put at risk.”
