Uline Founders Poured Over $1.1M To Vaccine and Election Conspiracists In 2020
Washington, DC — Government watchdog Accountable.US released a new analysis today finding that Dick and Liz Uihlein donated over $1.1 million to extremist, hate, and insurrectionist groups through their family foundation, the Uihlein Foundation, in 2020. The Trump megadonors also own the wealthy packing supply empire, Uline, which notably received over $700,000 in government aid since the start of the pandemic — even while the Uihleins’ gave thousands to groups pushing COVID and vaccine conspiracy theories.
In 2020, as workers and families struggled to get by, Dick and Liz Uihlein’s company cashed in on pandemic aid — then turned around and funded hate groups pushing COVID conspiracy theories, bigotry, and efforts to undermine democracy. By signing away more than $1.1 million to groups that have promoted hate and sedition, Dick and Liz Uihlein have made it clear where their company’s values truly lie.”

EXTREMISTS GROUPS FUNDED BY THE UIHLEIN’S:
- The Center For Security Policy, $750,000: A recognized anti-Islam hate group whose views are so extreme they were banned from the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). The Center For Security Policy stoked election fraud conspiracy claims leading up to the Capitol Riot.
- Sons Of Liberty, $300,000: A radio show by celebrity antiLGBTQ pastor Bradlee Dean who once headed the now defunct anti-LGBTQ hate group You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International. Dean and his show, Sons of Liberty are COVID-19 vaccine conspiracy super spreaders, alleging the vaccines cause HIV and AIDS and claimed that vaccines are responsible for creating variants of the “alleged COVID.”
- Turning Point USA, $30,000: A right wing youth organizing group that played a key role in organizing the rally that led to the January 6th insurrection.
- American Conservative, $25,000: A right wing publication. In the lead up to the January 6th attack on the Capitol, The American Conservative published numerous articles stating that the 2020 election was stolen. And continued to publish similar articles even after, going as far to publish an article on January 6th around 6pm that claimed that there was widespread voter fraud.
