Government Watchdog Launches Website Pressing White House on COVID-19 Testing

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today government watchdog Accountable.US launched WhereAreTheTests.com to encourage visitors to press President Trump and his administration over the lack of available COVID-19 tests and to support charities working to respond to the pandemic.

“First President Trump told us we’d soon have close to zero cases of coronavirus, then cases exploded. Then he told us that anyone who wants a test can get a test only to be seemingly contradicted by his own CDC official,” said Kyle Herrig, Accountable.US president. “The president has compounded this pandemic with mismanagement, lies, and misinformation. The American people demand answers and deserve access to testing so that we can finally determine the true extent of this public health crisis.”

Accountable.US is a nonpartisan watchdog group that exposes corruption across all levels of government – it has been pressing the Trump administration over its coronavirus response, failures surrounding testing, and future policies regarding vaccines.
