WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, following news that Senator Lindsey Graham may have communicated with officials in Arizona and Nevada potentially seeking to interfere with the results of the November election, nonpartisan government watchdog Accountable.US filed records requests in two additional states seeking communications from Senator Lindsey Graham, his office, or the Trump administration. The group filed requests for their correspondence with officials in Georgia earlier this week.

“In an effort to keep pandering to President Trump despite his clear election loss, Senator Graham is now engaging in a transparent ploy to throw out legitimate votes and suppress the voice of the American public,” said Kyle Herrig, president of Accountable.US. “Senator Graham’s behavior warrants a thorough official investigation. Each day Trump, Graham, and their allies attempt to delay the inevitable transition to President-elect Biden’s administration puts Americans’ health and safety at greater risk.”

President Trump and his allies in the Senate have continued to push election disinformation while their own – including Senator Graham himself —  are facing scrutiny for flouting campaign regulations.

Accountable.US’s records requests in Arizona (1,2), Georgia (1,2), and Nevada (1,2) are available on the group’s website.
